Moasure's Co-CEOs Recognised as Rising Stars in International Business

Mo Hussain and Alan Rock of Moasure have won the Rising Star in International Award as part of The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders programme for 2023.

Created by trusted investment partner LDC - part of Lloyds Banking Group, and supported by The Times, The LDC Top 50 champions the business leaders who are pushing for growth and building successful medium-sized businesses.

This year’s nominations were of an exceptionally high calibre and the competition was fierce, showcasing the drive and determination that unites business leaders across the United Kingdom.

The leaders featured in The LDC Top 50 are growing their businesses at home and overseas, making a positive contribution to society and driving progress against their sustainability goals.

They hail from every corner of the UK and span every sector of the economy. Together, they employ more than 6,700 people and turn over more than £1.2bn. The awards, presented last night at a celebratory event at BAFTA in London, were given out after an intense judging session, during which this year’s judging panel of Carl Castledine, CEO of Away Resorts; Janette Martin, CEO of Talos360; John Garner, Managing Partner of LDC; and Kate Bassett and Bex Burn-Callander, editors of The LDC Top 50 2023 selected the final award winners.

The Rising Star Awards recognise the business leaders we expect to see more of in the coming years. Mo and Alan have developed the world’s first motion-based measuring tool and their business now ships to over 150 countries.

Mo, Co-CEO of Moasure said: “Winning this award shows our dedication to innovation and growth. It's not just about looking back at what we've done – it's like a boost for what's coming next. It makes us want to keep doing things that no one thought were possible with our revolutionary technology. We're excited to take Moasure into new markets and into new industries – and to continue innovating with new features."

Speaking from Kentucky, USA where the team is exhibiting at EQUIP / Hardscape North America Expo Alan, Co-CEO and Moasure founder was thrilled; “Since founding Moasure in 2014 we have strived for excellence. This award recognises the hard work it’s taken to get us there, and Mo and myself wouldn’t have got here without our amazing team. Moving forward, we remain steadfast in our commitment to reach new customers across the globe, confident in the exciting possibilities that lie ahead."

John Garner, Managing Partner at LDC, said: “We started The LDC Top 50 six years ago to champion the remarkable success stories of medium-sized businesses, the unsung heroes of the British economy. In business, ambition is the driving force that propels innovation, growth and success, and the winners, as well as those recognised in The Top 50 and Ones to Watch should be proud of their achievements.

Mo and Alan developed a technology that was years ahead of its time and are now getting the traction they deserve. Their business, Moasure, is already global, yet there is still so much potential for further growth at home and overseas – I’d like to congratulate them on their achievements.”
